I've actually attended a series of lectures by Kent Hovind, the guy who made this video. This was many years ago and I heartily believed just about everything he said. Seeing this video now...makes me almost feel ashamed...

Did you believe this stuff before you started using psychedelics? (assuming you do). Any interesting experiences with mushrooms conflicting with these prior beliefs? Seems right up that alley, and the tearing away of certain beliefs can be amplified a lot by mushrooms. I've never had any beliefs so drastic in that way, and I'm curious as to how the two conflicted.

I was an incredibly hardcore Christian fundamentalist until the time of my first mushroom trip. Needless to say, after that experience, I was forced to reconsider my course in life and my reality tunnel that I'd constructed and defended.
I'm glad to say that I've been trying to open myself to freedom of thought and experience ever since.

I love how people in the audience are nodding to themselves, like he's just making such an incredible amount of sense.
His vagueness is awesome.

Yeah, so I'm watching this now. This guy was on "Da Ali G Show". Ali G accuses him of leaving a "floater" in the men's toilet.

"For in six days the Lord made the heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is..."
"He [GOD] wrote that on a rock with his finger..."
"That's not science folks; and somebody is seriously wrong."
Haha, what a triple-douche.
Great video.

Such things make me simultaneously immensely angry at him/people like him and sad for humanity/people like him/people swayed by him.
This whole planet seems to be filled with people that have no critical thinking faculty at all- Or one just suppressed by their faith/some other form of propaganda.
Religion by far has dibs on the greatest concentration of utter BS in the collective human psyche.

My favorite part was how he explained that Noah put the dinosaurs on the ark when they were babies so they would all fit on it.
