Just for music's sake...

...music is what I make.

This is a song I've been working on. Havent finished writing the lyrics but I love this recording. I did the guitars, bass, and vocals on this song, and programmed the drums.

If there are any drummers here that could record an actual drum track for this I'd really appreciate it.

As usual I have no idea how to describe what genre(s) this music would fall under.

Hey dude, good tune. Mellow stuff.

I could picture the 'chorus' going into double time, like a light drum and bass style beat underneath the distorted guitar. But thats just me!  :bigblunt:

Good stuff man... I really liked it. The guitar work is really nice. I liked the intro riff a lot, as well as the solo at the end. You have a tight feel for structure and flow.

I'd love to hear a finished version, with maybe a little more tone and a little less breath in the voice. (but that last part is just personal preference.)

Thanks for the input. I made this recording in March '05. Over the last year both my guitar playing and singing have improved substantially. I need to redo the intro riff, the timing is a bit off and its bugging me.

And when I finish the lyrics I'm going to do the vocals over again. I agree, the vocal tone is a bit too breathy, but then again I've never been much of a singer. I'll see if I can get it to sound better.
