what should i mix in with sphagnum peat moss to create the best soil for marijuana to grow in?
it says mix it with perlite but will vermiculite work just as good.

What is "it"? What grow guide are you using?(I am not questioning it, just looking for more weed-growing info)

i use perlite and vermic in my pots...i think you definalty want the perlite..it makes the mix much better for air,which is great for roots...sand,and oyster shells are a nice addition to...not to much sand though

just to hijack the thread more: captain, what type of light are those under? and how much oyster shells and how much & in what form do you add them (crushed, ground) . ?

i flower under 2 400 watt metal halides and 2 400 watt high pressure sodiums..so thats 1600 watts of love...i just mix in the crushed oyster shells for more aerated soil..i also throw in some vermiculite and perlite...
if you can just grab some bc promix and add alittle shells and vermic..great stuff

Yup, thats what I would do, great stuff to work with. Hey Cap, I bet those tasted yummy, hardly any chlorophyll left in those leaves, I love when things come out like that
