Marijuana growing sites closed down - How does it relate to the shroomery?

After all the news and fuss about hempcultivation, overgrow, and a bunch of other marijuana growing sites, I've been worried about the cultivation forum on the shroomery. Are we still secure? How can we know for sure?

AFAIK the shroomery is safe because of freedom of speech laws in the US and because it doesn't sell anyting illegal.

That's pretty much it, right there. Any official in the US that would be stupid enough to violate the constitution in order to shut down a legal website would be better off just resigning instead. The end result is the same (loss of job), but the former would result in him being recognized as an idiot and mocked by the general public.
Political suicide.

see, if the shroomery was irresponsible and allowed its vendors to sell spores to residents from Idaho, Georgia, and California, THEN we would be in danger and be shut down/prosecuted. This is why it's very important and necessary that the shroomery moderators and administrators enforce the strict rules. it is all for our safety.

> and allowed its vendors to sell spores
We have no control what-so-ever upon what the vendors advertising on this site do or do not. We do our best to ensure that the vendors that buy advertising on this site do not violate the law. If we catch a vendor breaking the law, and the vendor refuses to change their ways, then we drop the vendor as a sponsor.
Please remember, this is an information portal, and we rely upon the freedoms and protections offered by the US Constitution's 1st amendment. Our mission is to stop the spread of misinformation regarding hallucinogenic mushrooms. We do not even sell spores or cultivation equipment.
This site serves the entire world, not a single country. We strive to provide honest and accurate information. We also try to maintain an online community where people from across the world can share their common interests and ideas with one another. We encourage people to check their local laws before growing to ensure that what they are growing is legal in their country.
The shroomery is not about breaking the law, growing mushrooms where they are illegal, doing drugs where they are illegal, or anything else along these lines. We are here to educate and provide information to the public in the most modern media available, nothing more.
