mycelium growth in syringe?

hi there, I used my syringe once to innoculate a few jars and then let it be, today, when i took it out to look at it, there are a few little white growths floating around the syringe, i dont think it is contams because nothing I've innoculated with it has gotten contaminated yet. Is it possible that mycelium is growing inside the syringe or what? thanks for the help!

Yes, that is most likely mycelium. I have seen this occur on occasion with Ecuadors.

Yup. Make sure you shake well to try and break up any clumps.

I got a syringe with germinated spores from ralph ones, i was bitchin at him because i kept statin that it was contaminated, I saw signs of colonizations after 2 weeks. Too bad I threw half of the jars away before that. DAMN

spores will germinate in water if there are any nutrients present..the only question is how there became nutrients present.

I've thought about that too, but I've seen this happen with one strain and not another, both using the same tripple distilled water source. I have never seen them suddenly turn from white to green either. I think it happens when the spores are fresher and perhaps more agressive. I'm definitely not sure about that though.
