verm and brf ?

the top of my jars are getting nicee and collinized. rrom about half way up but ther seems to be little or no growth on the bottom half should i flip them?  :pirate:

I wouldn't flip PF cakes that have a vermiculite top layer. It will mess it up causing flecks to fall inbetween the glass and cake.

they don't have a layer so to say of verm. its verm mixed with brf. does that make any difference

Makes it easier to contaminate.

i would assume that either the bottom is dry or the mycelium hasn't made it's way to the bottom yet.

it most likely just hasn't made it to that point yet the growth starter a few days ago one jar is faster then the other. also should i set them on top of my hearting pad to incubate because i have them sitting next to the pad in a drawer.

Heating pad will cause the bottom to dry out faster IMO.

so just leave the pad on the side. they don't seem dry at all they look just like they did after i sterilized. i would post a pic but my camera is dead.
