Cobweb on hpoo?

My cobweb occured on my hpoo during incubation. All of the info i can find shows cobweb after casing. This is what i found 0n day 6. What do i need to do to avoid this next time? I thaught i was doing everyhting right.

I'm not sure how to properly get FEA doring incubation while avoiding other contams.

I've heard of cobweb being a controllable contam if treated quicly and correctly.
A misting of a 10:1 (H2O:H2O2), solution is supposed to correct it fairly consistently, I believe.

It was covered w/foil punctured about 25x w/ a needle. are there other good options?

If that is day six of your casing then you really need to up your spawn amount. The faster your substrate colonizes the less chance there is for contams. After six days your casing should be just about fully colonized. I've had 10 lbs of poo colonize with 12 - 1/2 pints of brf in about 6 days. But FAE is the best way to keep contams out. I fucked up on mine too. I ended up getting mean green on that 10 lbs of poo and I was pissed. But It's all cool I learned my lesson and now I am on to my next grow. 12 more jars almost colonized and I'm waiting for my poo.

I agree that you might need more spawn. You can also put some extra spawn right on the top to make a protective layer.
