casing ingredients

I'm planning on using millet to grow some mushrooms. Now I was looking at the MUSH MUSH casing method and I was just wondering if I could just use a perlite and vermiculite mix for the casing.

heh heh...

Well check out the 50/50 mix or use coco coir (linked in grow/find -> Casing)... Perlite and verm dont seem to be very popular.

Also check out the thread just below "casing and humidity". Anno has a great response in there ALL about casing...

Nope......don't use perilite in a casing.

Use the 50/50 or some of the other casing Teks.

And angryshroom is right....Anno has some great stuff on casing.
Hell....Anno helped me with my casing...lolz
