I went to Amsterdam and tried all of the mushrooms that they had to offer. By far my favorites were the philosopher stones. Who's got prints? Are they hard to grow?

your gonna need Psilocybe "atlantis", or Psilocybe mexicana Strain-A, or Psilocybe tampanensis to make philosopher stones(Sclerotia).
Sporeworks is probably your best bet to get them...

you could look around the other Vendor sites too...

as far as growing them...
there are several teks to choose from...

Truffels are totally easy. The only drawback is that the grow time is 3-4 months.
But if you get a chain of grows going, you wil constaintly harvest. I've been doing a batch of jars every 2-3 weeks. Soon, I'll be harvesting every 2-3 weeks
In my experience, it's a good idea to avoid teks that call for adding dry grain and water to the jar. I've had much better luck by hydrating the substrate and then adding it to the jar to be pressure cooked.

Why would you say it was your favorite?

I second that, I'd like to grow some, but I wonder if the wait is worth it. I'm looking for more happy, controllable strains which I hear mexicana A strain is.
