SO i PC'ed 12 jars friday but my spores never came on saturday, they were backordered...doh. I only opened the PC once to make sure the jars werent burned or anything, then i closed it back up. The jars holes are sealed with micropore tape. Should i be fine if i inoculate within the next few days? And do you think the jars lost alot of moisture?

Once jars a PC'd they will last for quite some time... just don't wait too long or else they will dry out.

jars should be fine. i inoculated a jar last week that was a few weeks old and it's doing beautifully. i have actually been waiting a few days to inoculate because it gives you a chance to shake the jars more to distribute moisture more evenly throughout the grain... no wet spots on the outsides of the grain.

awesome, i dont think theyl dry out. theyre still inside the sealed PC. i even left the weight up on top of it and the water inside. so i think theyll be fine. although i really wanna open a jar up to check how moist it is.

you can check on them. just don't open the jars. i like to shake them to mix the wet grains with the dry ones so when you go to incubate you don't have all these wet spots on the sides of the jars.
