As far as accepting what is happening to you.. the first time i completely resited the ego-loss and ended up sitting there bored out of my mind..
now that i know how this feels, it logically should be easier for me to accept the drug... right?

I think that experience has alot to do with it, each time I trip I find things that bother me and things that I really enjoy, its all a learning process, thats what makes it interesting to me. There is always something to learn, thats what drives my trips, is the learning, whatever it is, large or small. I know that each time you take it, things become a bit more familiar, to me its like a journey. A see alot of people that I know in my life that take the trips as single experiences, a single dose, a single time, I see it the door opening farther each time. I become familiar with the mushrooms and their effects on me, and I let them teach me. Its all about learning, just keep learning and loving, thats all we got
BTW, Welcome to the Shroomery

thanks guys, any recommendations on what exactly to think about if my mind finds me unable to pay attention to the world around me (is it possible to stay interactive in the outside world or will I always get put inside my mind?)

I've tripped now off and on for about 3-4 years. Probably 20 or so in total, and only my most recent trip has been worthwhile. All the ones previous were great in a way, but I was so anxiety ridden that I could never 'let go.' I often used to compare the experience to a loud 'pop.' The trip would gradually increase in intensity, and finally after the peak, gradually level off. I often spent my trips sitting in boredom as you commented on.
This last trip changed my view of mushrooms completely. I took a small dose (2 grams), put on the headphones, and listened to 'tidal' by fiona apple. During the come up I started to get the anxiety and my mind filled up with those familiar mindfuck questions, but I kept telling myself 'No questions. You'll be fine.' That was the key, I was able to go somewhere completely alien to me. I had a profound spiritual experience.
I would say that now that you know what the mindfuck is like, you need to work on making sure you keep your mind at peace. Find some good tunes and blast off!

I deffinitely found my second shroom trip a little easier to get into, all my irrational fears or concerns were gone and I was able to sit back and just allow it to happen... On the other hand I've seen people who just habitually resist the shrooms so I guess it's all in your head...
One thing about shrooms as was mentioned earlier is that it is a learning experience... You begin to pick up on certain triggers and generally get a better understanding of your trip as you experience more and more (that is, if you care to learn at all).

Personally, I've found that the mushroom expierence has been getting increasingly harder for me the longer I trip.
The first portion of my tripping life - most of the trips were just all laughs, fun and good times. They were 'shallow' trips - got some self reflection/etc, but the focus of the expierence was 'just a good time'.
However, the past whie - my trips (even at the same dosages of when I was starting), have been getting more intense, more challenging, and more difficult - however, I am also learning more and gaining more from the expierences.
The primary thing to make things 'easier' - is you just need to learn how to let go and relax.

It took me a good 40+ tryptamine-type trips (DMT, LSD, Mushrooms) before I ever encountered a 'bad-trip,' I don't think the number of times ingested is as strong of a contributing factor as, say, your location and current disposition when the drug(s) is/are consumed.
