I killed a child...

in a dream last night.
I was with my friend and we were running from something, I don't remember what it was. We tried to rob a small child probably about 8 years old, and I don't remember what we wanted but I took a gun and shot him 3 times.
He had first pulled out a gun in an attempt to shoot me. I shot at him once in the leg and twice in the chest. The shots were meant to only hurt him but I ended up killing him. His younger brother was right next to him and watched him die as my friend and I fled the scene. I remember jumping into some bushes as a crowd ran by us, once they were out of sight I ran over to where my friend was and told him.. I killed a boy, "I'm dead."
I could actually feel the pain of taking another persons life and it was absolutely awful. I sat there and began to cry as I repeated the words "I'm Dead".
A second later I woke up and was so happy to be alive and to not have taking another persons life! It was really great, I felt reborn. It was a sort of Dream like ego death for me, very strange.

That dream is rife with symbolism, please be sure to contemplate it and integrate it into your life.
-------------------- "What is in us that turns a deaf ear to the cries of human suffering?" "Belief is a beautiful armor But makes for the heaviest sword" - John Mayer Making the noise "penicillin" is no substitute for actually taking penicillin. "This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it." -Abraham Lincoln

I know what it was, last night was probably one of the lowest points of my life, like a breaking point, I felt pretty much dead. I think this will be a new start from me, I need to stop running and face my problems before its too late.

Also most of this week has been everyone telling me to grow up and get it together. I'm starting to think the child I killed was myself.

In a small way this reminds me of a good book that our friend Skrop recommend. The Power Of Now. By Eckhart Tolle. I've read it a few times, but it really sunk in after the first two times I read it. This post reminds me so much of how he came to writing it.The feeling great dread, then sorta having a life changing moment were your eye are truly opened like never before. Every thing is an aw.
