Do you think it would be possible to bake dry WBS in the oven at some temp. to sterilize it, and then right when you open the oven (so the hot air updraft keeps contams out) add the WBS to a pot of boiling water and follow the easy soak and simmer tek. Would this sterilize the WBS properly? (assuming the jars and lids are sterilized, etc.)
Just wondering, im planning on buying a Pressure Cooker before everybody starts telling me to do so, but in the meantime i was wondering if this would work. If so, what temp would i need to set the oven at?

i would think that baking the grain enough to sterilize them would burn them and render it useless

He's just tired of all the questions about ways to get around PC'ing grains. That's definitely understandable with all the weird ideas people keep pulling out of their ass
If you want to do whole grains without a PC, search for "fractional sterilization". It's a PITA and will probably be all the convincing you need to buy a PC.
