pasturized Poo (revised)

I bought composted manure, it's all I could find. I pasteurized it last night and it doesn't smell the same, to be honest I don't remember a smell before this was done is this normal? After pasteurization does it have to be in a contained environment or can it be left out until I use it? I left it in my oven to cool and it is still there is this sterile enough or will I have to pasteurize it again? I followed the pillowcase method. Any suggestions people of shroomery? Thanks!

are u asking a question or making a statement? if you followed the instructions on how to pasteurize then you should be fine.?

my poo smelled worse after pasteurizing and leaching too. i cased it anyway, and its growing. i dunno if itll be a small yield, or a low potency yield though.

You should pasturize it just before you intend to use it. I couldn't really give you an exact time frame, but I wouldn't let it go for too long.

I usually pasteurize in the evening, and let my poo & straw drain and cool overnight, then inoculate in the morning.
I do it all outside, and let it drain & cool outside too. Works fine for me.
