I am the perfect man.
I am white. I am 6'7" 230lbs, athletic build. I am absolutely brilliant. I have perfect teeth, a well paying job. I'm polite, well mannered and thoughtful. I have size 15 shoes...
But that's the whole problem. Women don't want these things. They say they do, but every guy I see with a hot girlfriend is short, fat and a complete jerk.
Nice guys finish last, so be a prick. You'll get laid more often.

The ultimate is my friend. He talks alot, is a asshole, but most interestingly can read a girls mind/history. But then again, I talk a lot, am a complete jerkoff (I assume all women are sluts haha), and I get laid. So whatever is your preference on women.

Wow...I find it utterly amazing that every thread I start that has to do with the sexes turns into a woman-bashing convention.

What is your goal of starting such threads then?

I actually thought that women would laugh at that picture. I thought it was kind of funny.

Man...I'm just bummed. All of the misogynist threads I started in my Shroomery career were definately based on real life thoughts but they were exaggerated to be more joking than anything else. During the Canadian ski gathering some of us were playing scrabble and Woodscall said, "So...do you really hate women?". I was taken aback by this. I don't hate women at all. I hope people don't think this of me.

I always pictured you as a clean and sober yet bitter guy that rolls with a piece and nails the occasional bar slut, only to reaffirm his feelings that women are weakminded and simple.
But, the typed word is often misleading.

Oh God!
I don't think women are weak. It takes a pretty strong person to be able to simultaneously rub my feet, cook my dinner, fellate me, clean the house, and obey my every whim.

I know you don't mean that and I know you (most likely) aren't misogynistic. But that sig doesn't help me paint a positive picture of you

Maybe you should start doing drugs and be cool. No one likes a sober guy!
On a serious note, I'm actually doing better than I was say 3 months ago. I had to deliver some papers to the school I will be attending in a few months and my god, the pieces of meat there were parading around in front of my eyes.... smelling like heaven....

I was thinking of something the other day:
It's cool but weird meeting Shroomerites in person. I think some of them expect me to be like my online persona. In actuality I am completely different in real life. My mannerisms, behavior, and outlook are completely different the second I log in here. When I'm online I am obnoxious and somewhat of an attention whore at times. In real life I am pretty quiet, polite, and downright bland most of the time. I don't know what it is about this site that causes such a "Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde" kind of thing to happen. Maybe I have been corrupted by my occassional forays into OTD.
Watch out! This thread could turn into a James Joyce-like stream of consciousness thing.

I love the Wake cuz it's just brilliance on everypage. I really don't read it from the beginning to end, I just open it up and start reading.

I have a few Dostoevsky novels I need to get around to reading...Crime and Punishment and The Brothers Karamazov. If I remember correctly, you're a big fan of his aren't you? What would you recommend first?

All of his stuff is good. Brothers Karamazov is his masterpiece. I started with that one and all of his other novels (while very good) pale in comparison.

haha Randal are you going to be embarassed if I say you actually are a sweetheart irl?
I think if you hadn't have warned us that you would be different from your online persona then I would have been suprised, I just assumed you were quietly thinking "Randalflagg" thoughts, but chosing to not say it outloud.
and as far as the picture goes, I printed it out and stuck it to my sisters door

I was taught Moby Dick by an English teacher who would not let go of the idea of symbolism between whale and sperm and penises and Queequeg being gay and it was all very tiresome and yet I still managed to somewhat enjoy Moby Dick. Give it a try sometime.
Melville has GREAT short stories, btw.

True.
Also, on the internet you can present yourself in a way where people see only what you want them to see. All of the traits and quirks that you inherently have can be suppressed or ignored while you type stuff on a keyboard.
