 Drying rack.

Here's a drying rack I made. It was inspired by a post I saw here.
The top section is a 18 inch box fan. The fan blows down so your smaller shrooms don’t blow off. The frame is 1 X 4 just large enough to surround the fan.
The center section is two 1 X 4 frames, one just large enough to fit around the other. I used 1/4 inch screen stapled to the bottom of the inner box. Make as many center sections as needed to suit the size of your crop. I have 3.
The bottom section is 1 X 4 the same size as the smaller frame in the center section. I used 4 door stops as legs to keep it suspended above my table to allow good air circulation.
The sections all stack upon one another.
This dries my shrooms unbelievably fast, and can do a large quantity at one time. I still follow up with desiccant to be safe.

I know this could be the stupidest comment ever, as I've not grown or dried any mushrooms before, but it seems to me like using a fan could be detrimental to the potency, as once the veil breaks psilocybin seems to come out fairly easily. Any thoughts? I could be completely wrong here...

The veil breaking does not release psilocybin. You want to dry the shrooms as fast as possible so as to not let them spoil. It's excessive heat that reduces potency.

its true,,,,,,,, heat screws the little guys metabolism....
as long as luvdem is cool drying them they should be good near to 80-90% potency

Fan drying followed by a good dessicant is the best drying method.
Storing in a airtight or vacum-packed containers/jar is the best storage method.

I don't know what y'all are developing on drying techniques, stick more time in growing!!
Let those shroom dry at room temp and room air, between some newspapers. After the first moist has left and they feel crack dry, put them on the heating (at low temps) and dry a little more.
It's sufficient.
