Time line for hpoo or straw colonization?
    #5342162 - 02/26/06 06:16 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

I just took a peak in my trays - one straw and one hpoo - they are 3 days post grain spawned. When should myc appear to be moving into the substrate?

they should be done in one to two weeks. Stop peaking though, thats a good way to introduce contams.

He may be peaking through a clear tub. Usually you'll see the mycelia continue to colonize within the first 3-5 days. It takes between 10-12 days for complete colonization in my experience, depending on the spawn ratios and conditions of course.
