I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. Ronnie Coleman has some of the most amazing genetics in the bodybuilding world. You can't just juice it to be the worlds biggest man. If you want to see some fucked up juicers, google greg valintino.
Dude, Ronnie Coleman's in his 40's. Give the guy some props. He's one of the greatest bodybuilders ever. He's like the next arnold, he painted some colour into the current, kinda lame bodybuilding scene.

I'm not knocking the man's genetics, but without "supplementation" the human body doesn't naturally get that big. Look at the difference in the pictures of the all natural guys at their peak compared to the regular circut guys........ there's more than a little difference there.

What's wrong with supplimentation? If I had spent the last year working out and not taking suppliments, I wouldn't have gone anywhere. I would have had to eaten even more strict, and it would have just destroyed my body. Even "natural" body builders chug their protein shakes after the gym. Coleman takes the same suppliments as everyone else, he's just dedicated, smart and blessed with absolutely out of this world genetics. All IFBBers are.
I haven't taken many suppliments in a long while due to lack of funds. Just protein, changing my diet and everything totally elevated my testosterone levels through the roof. My bloodtests show a clear elevation by tweaking small things like my workout and diet schedules, my tempo and rest periods. You'd be amazed kinds of gains can be made. If you can understand the way your body works, you can make outstanding gains. But yes, I can agree that it'd be near impossible to get to that point without suppliments. Those veins are no doubt from the high levels of amino acids like arginine. Vasodialation is dope. I love walking around with a pump all day.

OK, don't get me wrong here guys. I am an ex amatuer MMA fighter. I worked out constantly for years, sucking down lots of protein shakes, creatine, and I even popped androstenedione for a while to up the testosterone levels. I've done anabolic primers, but never 'roids. I don't see anything wrong with supplementation, but it REQUIRED to get to that size. MOST of the circut guys have used roids at least a little, mostly to break plateus... I saw them in my gym fairly regularly. Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with that either. I'm just saying, even though a lot of these guys say "i'm clean" doesn't mean they haven't gone there before.

Do I sound like I'm joking? Go to a popular gym in your area and watch for roid monkeys. Do you see any of them with sponsorships or getting their pro card? No. IFBB regulations are cracking down on all this shit that's wrecking bodybuilding. Distended bellies, anabolic steroids, the dangerous cut and dry look... all being cut. Juicers with giant show muscles and weak legs are just being laughed at now. And that's good. Juicing alone won't get you to where Coleman is. There's millions of people all over the world who are sticking needles in their asses and getting no where near Coleman's level.
I know what you're saying too, mediman. I can't say whether or not Coleman's EVER done steroids, because back in the golden days of BB'ing, doctors where handing out and guiding these beasts into using them. They didn't know NOT to use them at the time. That's understandable. Getting past a tough plateue, I'm sure there's temptation. But for the most part, I stand by what I said. There's a lot more too it than just stickin a needle in your ass, or taking pro anabolics orally. You still have to be the man, you have to tweak your diet, schedule and every single aspect of your life if you want to add that extra dash of spice. It's easy to work out and get big, and it's even easier to work out, take roids and get big. But that's not all there is too it. When you're over 200lbs of pure muscle, squatting over 800lbs and pressing THOUSANDS on a sled, gains are hard to come by. And when these guys are doing it without roids, that's nothing short of absolute marvel. Gotta give the guy props. With all the bullshit going on in the Olympia competitions, this guy managed to nab his 8th with just a few months ago.
Coleman's sitting on top of the world and I can't give him anything but props for that. It wasn't easy to make it to where he is. And if he juiced more than anyone else, he's still an amazing athlete.

I in no way would knock this man's achievement either. I admire the dedication it takes to even get CLOSE to that ripped. I couldn't do it... hell I couldn't ever even drop my body fat content enough to see abs, even when I was at my peak... and I was doing everything short of juicing.
He IS a modern marvel. I just don't think most people know what it ACTUALLY takes to get there... I couldn't do it. Like you said, props to the man for getting there. That's some of the finest human genetics I've seen, as far as just plain BIG goes. He's very proportionate for his size.

No kidding. That's why he beat out Gustavo and Cutler last Olympia. I think Cutler also deserves the O-title, but man.... Ronnies always been amazing. Ever since I saw him for the first time and knew nothing about BB'ing, I obviously recognized both his size and symmetry. He's a beast and I'd shit my pants if he pulled me over for smokin weed.
And as far as Greg V's concerned, my mistake. Steroids pumped him up, it was synthol or some crap that he put in his arms to blast them up to 28 inches. God that's gross. I'd choose to have Lee Priests arms over Greg's discusting mutations any day.

There was a nice article in Playboy on bodybuilding recently. Basically, the Pro bodybuilding circuit doesn't test for roids, and they don't plan on it. They test in the amateur division but not professionals.
