Too many cannabutter recipes!
    #5339026 - 02/25/06 08:00 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

Hey gang, I've searched the shit out of this subject and have found so many different ways to prepare cannabutter, all of which claim to be the perfect or best way; I don't know which one to trust. My friends also keep saying things like "Nahh yo that one doesn't so well." The only areas of this preparation I need help on are: butter/oil (which one works better or does it not matter), butter/oil to (dank/high quality) weed ratio, and how to mix the weed with the butter/oil. To explain the mixing question more thoroughly, I am afraid of killing THC upon mixing the weed with the butter. Some people are like, "yo you gotta have boiling water under a bowl with the butter in the bowl!" wile others will insist upon simmering it in a pan. Which method will dissolve the THC better and explain how i would perform each method and killing as little THC (none preferably) as possible. Thanks :sun:

Ingredients
1 ounce cannabis
1 pound butter

Directions
Using a coffee grinder, or something similar, grind the cannabis into a fine powder. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Stir in the cannabis powder with a wooden spoon. Once the mixture starts to come together, reduce the heat to low. Leave on heat for 15 to 30 minutes, the longer the better, just don?t let the mixture burn! Once it has cooked, strain the mixture, making sure to squeeze all the butter out. You can use those plastic containers that margarine comes in if you have nothing to put your cannabutter in. Pour a little water over the butter once it has hardened and it will last longer.

Damnit, ive made brownies alot of times, i will clear up your issue and make a post on it.
Proven Brownies Method:
Ingredients: Butter, bud, brownie mix
Butter/Bud ratio: 10-14 Grams :: 1 Stick butter
1)Mix brownie mix with water and egg(or whatever it calls for minus the butter or oil)
2)Melt butter into pan, once melted turn to low, medium/low
3)Crush up bud as finely as possible, dust is better, but not nessescary
4)Bud must be totally submerged, wait 10-15 minutes , or untill you see golden liquid(foam).
5)Straining is optional, but add the BUDDER to the brownie mix and then bake it.
*I find it usually takes a little shorter amount of time, but that may depend on my oven.
Enjoy your brownies, each person needs around 1.5-2 grams of kind bud/dank/dro whatever you call it.

stir the butter/weed until the butter/liquid in the pan turns brown. itll turn dark brown/black and that means it's good to go. it's really easy, just put some fucking butter and weed in a pan and stir it around on low heat until it turns dark brown/black.

then just mix it with the brownie mix and bake.
