Seemingly simple credit card question...

I just want a support number for my visa card because something seems screwy.
My balance keeps going up (balance as in credit to my name - not payments) and I haven't made any payments. I've charged a bunch of stuff the past month and not once have I seen on my online banking site an amount under "Payment Due". Instead, the balance (which is what the credit card company owes me) keeps going up. It was at 82 dollars at one point, then the other day it went back up to 140.
Of course this doesnt really seem like a bad thing, but it could be. Maybe the company has something screwed up and someone is making payments to my card? I have no idea what could be causing this, but all I want to do is pay my bills and keep my credit clean.
I've looked all over Google for a 1800 support number so I can figure a few things out but I've only found 1. I call it and it asks for my CC# and then only gives me some other 1800 number to my bank. I simply want to talk to the Visa company - I've searched all over their site but I can't find a fucking number to call.
So what I'm asking is if one of you could help me find a fucking support number for VISA credit cards other than the one i've been calling. (1800VISA911)
Thanks in advance!

Call the bank that issued the card not Visa bro. Visa just processes the transactions the bank lends the money and sends the bills and keeps track of shit.

The thing is that a month or two ago, I was having the same problem and some how I got through to the 24 hour visa hotline and got excellent customer support. I figured out that I made some extra payments and whatnot. The difference this time is that I haven't made any payments so the balance shouldn't keep going up.
I wish I could remember the god damn number.
I want to know why they make it so fucking difficult to find a customer support phone number. wtf?

You actually think the Credit card company owes YOU money!!??, Man are you in serious trouble..You're borrowing money from a bank at a high interest rate.. the CC company owes you nothing.

There's not a number on the back of your card?
Also, your available credit could have just randomly been raised...credit companies do that so that you charge more, and thus, owe them more money.

My roommate had the same problem a few months back. He called whoever it was he needed to call (unsure of who), and explained the situation telling them that his statements showed him paying more than what he thought he was. In no time, they physically located his payment history and verified everything. So instead of only oweing 300 dollars like his statement said, after updating his information, he had a balance of like 900 dollars or something. I would just go with the flow until they called you...

See that's what happened to me last time.
I noticed the balance kept going up and to find out that I was actually over paying because I do my stuff online. I guess the pages got reloaded or something so a few payments went twice.
So yes, the company DID (does?) owe me money.
However this time, I haven't made any payments and I've charged a lot of stuff. It's weird because the balance keeps going up and there aren't any payment due amounts showing up.

Just because there is no minimum amount due shown does not mean you should not pay, you are still being charged interest on whatever balance you carry on the card. Credit card companies like to keep the minimum payment low so people will only pay that amount, thats how they make money. And with regard to a credit card, the balance is what you owe; there is really no such thing as overpaying.

The balance on the card is what I have on top of my credit limit. It's the money to my name that is on the card.
The end of the billing cycle isn't until march 3rd so there's plenty of time to figure this out.
For me, Payment Due is what I owe and Balance is the balance on the card.
I still haven't been able to find a fucking support number. They must really not want you to bother them.

You must be forgetting that there is an exception to everything.
I, unfortunately, must be the exception in this case. There is not a phone number on my card. That was the first thing I checked.

Most banks themselves (like wells fargo) have a 24 hour hotline, you can contact the bank directly via their 800 number. Make sure to check it, if they're screwing stuff up, they can seriously fuck your credit score.
