The "Talk"

How old were you and what were the circumstances when you got "The Talk" (i.e. the talk from your parents about sex).
I was approximately ten years old. I remember my mother gingerly approaching me. She was unable to look at me and it was obvious something severely awkward was on her mind. She had a videotape in her hand and I immediately knew what was about to happen. I started to look for an escape route but it was fruitless.
She said, "What do you know about sex?". I'm thinking, "Oh fuck...here it comes". She tried talking about it and I tried to blow her off. I tried to play with some of my toys and look like I wasn't interested in stuff like this. In actuality I was (I used to sneak my dad's Playboys all of the time).
She put in the video. It was a cartoon that showed Mr. and Mrs. So and So. Mr. and Mrs. So and So were going on a trip in their Winnebago and they "loved each other very much". It showed Mr. So and So inserting his penis into the missus and they both turned and blandly smiled at the screen while remaining completely motionless. I was fucking horrified. My eyes got all big and I just prayed for immediate death so that I would not have to face my mother after this incident.
I still get the willies thinking about it.

My parents never did give me "the talk".
I found everything out by myself by means of the internet.
I was corrupted by the time I was 14 or 15.

yeah, my mom tried to give me the talk, and I just told her I was pretty sure I already knew everything I needed to know. and that I'd ask questions if need be (never did that, obviously).

i got the talk after i had already had sex, so i thought it was kind of funny. It was my dad who told me though...it would have been more uncomfortable if it had been my mom.

Yeah I'm definitely not letting my kids surf the net like I did.
I'm pretty sure I've seen almost everything there is to see. I'm not shocked or disgusted by anything I've seen online...and I've seen some pretty nasty shit.

My dad didn't really tell me anything about it. He just said: "Women are trouble, and their pussy is that women are good for." Lol.
My mom. Well, she tried to once. I was going on a trip several states away with my school. I was 14, and she tried to threaten me that if I had sex with anyone, she was going to kick my ass. It was akward, but I pretty much told her to chill out.
But one time, I passed out immediately after jacking off in the living room. I didn't have time to zip up or anything. Bam, and Zzzzzz...And the next thing I know I'm magically in my bed with my pants on. I was VERY VERY tired of course. Anyways, soon after I overheard her mumbling to her sister about how she finally caught me or something to that extent...
So yeah, after that, I don't think she wanted to talk to me about that stuff at all. Word got around school about that pretty fast.

I remember when my mom told me about periods. I was around 11 years old, I knew everything else, but the idea that blood comes out of vaginas every month was one of the weirdest things I could imagine at the time. I thought she might be pulling my leg, it was so outrageous.
My dad tried to give me the talk after he saw me staring at the cheerleaders at a college football game.
Dad: "Um, Cody, I noticed you checking out those cheerleaders." Me: "CMON DAD! OH MY GOD. I WAS NOT!" Dad: "its perfectly normal. Use a condom." Me: "I KNOW DAD! JEEEZ!"
that was the extent of it. I learned the details from AOL porn.

My parents never gave me the "talk" and I think I turned out just fine. By the way, what the hell's a penis?

My parents didn't have to give me the talk, the public school system to it upon themselves to do that. I guess they didn't have any faith in any of our parents? Maybe rightfully so for some of the kids parents.

I'm suprised your parents would think that a 10 year old didn't know about sex...
Mine told me when I was 2. Apparently I found it hilarious.

I'm still waiting for the talk actually. However, i lost my virginity way to young, fucking miami public schools. But damn, I got corrupted so young, it actually embarrasses me. I wonder if it was just my class, grade, or the whole school. And i was in the gifted classes at that time lol.

We were some bad gifted kids even before the first grade but it mainly started in the first grade.
And I think this was discussed before and as it turns out quite a bit of the shroomery population were "gifted" in public school.
