amount of water per print?

Alright, so I'm going to make some jars of spore solution using super dark prints from agar, and I'm curious how far can I stretch these prints? Like I said, they're super dark, and I was just thinking, venders spore syringes are generally clear, so they must be stretching them decently. Do you think that 600 ml of water would be too much of a stretch for a super dark print?

how big is it?? when i make them for about a 1/2" - 1" print i make about 3 or 4 10cc syringes and never had one fail me.. but im sure you could strech it farther than that..

I am not lost.. i am going there looking for it.. and when i get there and find it, i will know what it is.. "yes i want to hear what my mind has to say..." remember opions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink.

I've got two (OI and DT), and both are a good 2" across. These fuckers are dark too man. You know agar and his uncanny ability to make everyone else's spore prints look like little bitches. I got them a couple of weeks back but class has been a bitch so I'm just now getting around to dealing with them.

A dark thick $0.50 cent size(and up)print, I send out.
Will on average make about 40 or 50 ten ml syringes. (fairly clear, but very viable).
If you want darker syringes, go with 100, 150 or 200 ml of water. (for 10, 15, or 20 ten ml syringes).
Ponder that a good high caliber P. Cubensis print will contain around
100,000,000 spores.
If you can get all those spores into a solution, then sonicate it, or agitate the holy living hell out of it, to get an even spread of spores into syringes.
50 ten ml syringes of that solution would place about (+/-) 2,000,000 spores in each syringe.
Also ponder, any visible spore clump in a syringe, contains thousands of spores. Otherwise, you would not be able to see them.

Also, a trick when working with prints on foil, is to.
Open print (in a G/B - preferably).
Placed the unprinted side of the foil against a small square of glass, or any hard flat SANITIZED object.
Then, use a SANITIZED paint scraper type razor blade.
To scrape the spores off the foil, in a downward motion.
With something flat/hard/smooth behind the foil.
The foil doesn't crumple, wrinkle or tear. (when scraped)
So, you get most all of the spores OFF THE FOIL.

Agar, don't forget what that is and snort it!
Oh, and I have had excellent results with making prints on glass petri dishes. They're sealable, you can inject water straight into the dish if you wish, and scraping spores off of glass is a piece of cake.

Alright, so since you said no more than 500 ml per print, I decided the quart jars are too big. So I just went out to wally world and picked up some evenflo 8oz bottles (among other things) like you suggest for the baby bottle LC tek. I figured they'd work just as good as spore solution containers.
