If I could get more people to understand just how corrupted the US is our ancestors fought and gave their lives for this country for what the country was they laid their lives on the line for what they believed in

You really think that in the past things weren't as corrupted? The winners write the history books, man. It's all about the people who came out on top telling you their version of the story, of course they sound like heroes who had the betterment of humanity in mind at each step.

The thing is, no matter how greedy or uncaring you are, that's not how you see yourself.

The biggest reason for the war on drugs isn't single people who have orchestrated big schemes. Those schemes would never work if the public didn't see them as noble. The biggest factor in the war on drugs is the public believing that there is something immoral about drug use.

The United States is, as far as I know, the only country to implement a huge campaign of alcohol prohibition. It would seem that Americans has a deeply ingrained moral opposition to drug use.

A lot of Middle Eastern countries are much more draconian about alcohol than America is.

Caffeine's nothing. What you need to do is warn your kids about the dangers of bread.

I mean everything is toxic. And I find a lot of things we put in our bodies balance and cancel each other out. That is the wrong view of drugs or chemicals in general. Sorry, but it just is. My mother can't handle caffeine at all. It gives her headaches and mild withdrawals symptoms. I never get migraines. I drink coffee almost everyday. It is almost like a food to me rather than a drug.

The way they portray drugs as highly dangerous (specially the likes of marijuana, mushrooms and peyote)

Excuse me, but aren't drugs in fact highly dangerous, as compared to other foodstuffs? If you take five grams of shrooms on a rooftop you might find yourself splattered on the pavement ten stories below because your impaired judgement and coordination made you take great risks.

If you smoke pot like its tobacco you may ruin your education or get fired from your job, with consequences that last a lifetime.

Drugs ARE dangerous. What should be promoted is an attitude of knowledge and responsible use for those who seek them.
And that's what we're doing here!
