Intense Salvia Trip

I've only just returned from a very intense Salvia divinorum journey...
This was maybe my fifth experience with Salvia. While sitting crossed-legged, I took two large tokes of 10x extract from a homemade gravity bong and fell to the floor before being able to complete the third.
My visual reality was enveloped and was sort of geometrically sectioned off. I told my sitter ahead of time to turn off a small lamp that was lighting the room after I fell over, and as she did I felt the darkness take over the room. Everything was hexagonal; everything was composed of hexagonal symmetry/design. As the lamp turned off, I remember that 5/6ths everything was darkened, and that the turning off of the light blackened out the remaining 6th of everything.
At that point, I don't remember if my eyes were opened or closed, but I was surrounded by something I can't quite describe. It was just some visionary force, but the entity I seemed to be in the presence of was that of a mystical forest/jungle/plant world; it was very natural. Lots of leaf/tree/earth imagery.
It was as if I was lying on a forest floor, looking up at swaying trees towering above me. I could feel a prickly tingley sensation all over my arms and legs, like rain drops, or like insects marching over me. As this feeling started to fade, I slowly came to my senses and was back in the room, and the visions became visuals.
I closed my eyes and assumed various meditative poses as I concentrated on the energy I could feel pouring out of my body and into the room. The effects slowly faded and I began to speak (with much difficulty) about what had just happened and what was still happening.
I decided I was going to try to stand up, and so I focused my energy on my limbs and propelled myself upward...it was like shooting up out of some great ocean. I took a few steps over to a chair and sat, where I contemplated the experience and watched as the effects faded completely and I was returned to normal reality with the usual lasting afterglow effects.
I talked with my sitter and the whole ordeal lasted about 15-20 minutes.
I have confirmed through my experiences that Salvinorin alpha can be and is [gradient:#339933,#00CC66]vastly different/gradient] from other psychedelic compounds. This trip report is just a marginal attempt at putting the experience into words. This plant deserves the utmost respect and care, and I will continue to explore it's mystic and visionary properties.
Thanks for reading, hope everyone is having a good night.

I had already given it a go that night, and I was attempting to break through further, or at least have an increased level of experience, and one inhallation is what I had before. I did have a more intense experience.
Salvia is kind of debilitating for me, and it comes on faster than anything else I have experience with, so I like to/need to get all of my dose inhaled in a period of maybe 30-50 seconds.

I always thought salvia took its sweet time to effect me, it would suddenly hit me though when it did effect me and was at times somewhat surprising.

Really? Damn. What were you using? Extract/leaves, pipe/vaporizing?
The last two or three times I've done it were in a homemade gravity bong, and by the third toke it was as if the spirit of the plant was just pulling me completely out of this world.
I do have a somewhat low tolerance to most of the psychoactive compounds I've tried, however. Oh well. Diff'rent strokes, eh?

Theres your answer, I used a cheap metal pipe I used and use for pot you used a gravity bong that vaporized the shit out of the salvia and therefore you got alot more with just one hit. I some some people who had to toke 3-5 times before salvia even gave its stage 1 effects which is not visual its more mental n physical. Stage 2 in my definition is the breakthrough, which in all my 40x of smoking salvia I had 5-10 breakthru maybe cnt remember.
Salvia is an adventure in stage 2, stage 1 is sortve groggy and confusing. I remember being surrounded by a white and blue striped circus tent on stage 2 it was AWESOME I could even hear whispers of the people, kindve like I was being teleported to a new area in the world but never fully got transported but they all were awesome, I even ordered mcdonalds on another stage 2 experience the cashiers' pardon me im at a lose of words.. hmm her tits were very detailed and her face and hat were too the surrounding was very noticeable but somewhat fuzzy and whenever I moved my hands it felt as if air turned into some liquid or goop and I could change my surroundings with my hand, it was "salvia gravity" that influenced that idea, which at stage 1 salvia gravity sucks! Your fingers tingle everything feels like it fell asleep (like when ur foot does) and touch was severly more sensitive that it hurt almost. Iunno salvia just didnt get me to stage 2 enuff so I stopped.
If it wasnt for the maybe and probably and salvia gave me a stage 2 everytime I would smoke it daily its very fun and is jam packed with adevnture, I could actually move my self through the circus tent as if I was truely there in 3D and didnt havta use any thought to see what would I see if I looked over my shoulder, behind me was a elephant it stayed there I could even feel it. Things moved but on their own accord and reasons I was invisible to them it made me feel special. It only lasted 3-5min which is so depressing I couldnt grasp everything before the decline and it left me wanting more. Salvia the go everywhere while staying in one place.

I really think I understand the geometrical sectioning that you mentioned. I tried salvia for the first time last night and I had an experience very similar. Like my line of sight was a geometric pattern. And I existed in that pattern. I was native to that pattern, to the extent that I actually forgot my real life. I forgot nearly every aspect of my real life, everything except that pattern. And I nearly forgot who the guys were that were hanging out with me, even though I've know them all for over a year. They were in the pattern I saw, but they were completely foreign. It was so weird. And I lost the concept of 3 dimensions. Everything was this 2-D pattern until I was finally able to convince myself I could lie down. I was very confused for a while after that, slowly coming back to the realizations of who I was and what had happened. Salvia's crazy shit, that's for sure.

I find this VERY interesting. My first experience with salvia (2 hits of 20x on 5g. of mushies), shifted me millions of miles away from earth to this VERY colorful factory. I was many parts of this factory, but also, i was part of the product of this factory, which was a 2d picture. I really haven't figured out what any of this means yet, so i'm curious to hear more about this 2d feel.
