What is the best and easiest meathod for fruiting cakes for a fist time grower?

I'd keep the cake in a jar ; they keep nice and humid. Keep the jar in an area around 75-79 degrees while exposing to light at least 5 hours a day(light promotes pinning). Lastly, air out the jar a couple three times a day . Thats all there is to it. Oh and waiting for the fruits to appear. Good luck.

Did you read the MMGG? I really think thats just the easiest way. You've already done the hard part IMO.

Just get a plastic container or box of some sort which will keep the humidity around 90 - 95 %, and keep the temp in the mid 70s and I think you will be ok. You will need to buy perlite, which is so cheap...(like $2 a bag)...that will keep the humidity up.

Keeping the cakes in the jar works but wont really produce the nice shrooms you're going to be looking for!
