WBS colonization times

So I just finished PCing 10 pint jars full of WBS. This is my first attempt with this tek. I'm going to be goin on vacation in 8 days and will be away for 9 days. I know WBS colonizes a lot faster than BRF so I was wondering if I should knock them up now or knock them up right before I leave so they can incubate while I'm away? The tek says to shake the jars at 25% and 50%. Since this is my first time, I'm not sure how long it'll take to colonize to those percents. Which would be my best bet?

Yea, count on two weeks. It's been 15 days for me with WBS.

So you think it'll be fine to leave them alone for 9 days, a week after inoculation?

Yes the more colonized the better and shaking is just to speed up colonization. You'll be fine

i would knock them up now. it usuly takes no longer than 2 weeks for my pint jars to fully colonize w/ a MS inoculation. i inoc my jars and shake them then place into the incubator. then after the first week i open up my incubator and check the jars for contams and then shake and place back into incubator. then after the 2nd week i pull them out do a check for contams agin, then brake up and spawn to hpoo or case the WBS by itself. if your in a hurry and you have your incubator at optimal temps 83-85 ive had jars be 100% in 9 days, but there were a few straglers. but thats my hope it helps..

Might as well inoc early if anything. It might take longer than you expect, and even if it finishs early, you can still wait with it fully colonized until you need it.
