How to keep the temperature at incubation stage???

Hey guyz, This is my first post in this forum. Amazing website and motivated me so much to grow some mushes
Everything is fine and ready to go but I have a small problem. As I am concerned at incubation stage the temperature should remain between 70 - 86 F. and it is recommended to keep it at 86 for the fastest growth.
Unfortunately it is quiet impossible in my home enviornment as the temperature hardly comes to 71 72 F.
I have seen some techniques but quiet difficult. Here is an exampl:
http://www.fungifun.org/pf/incubator.htm
but I thought of a easier way and was wondering if it works. Simply put the jars in a pot full of water (let the water reach the cover of the jars) and using a fish tank heater to keep the temperature of the water at 86 F. (see the attached file)
will that work?
It may cause a lil bit more humidity but as the jars are closed it wont have any effect. Wut u think?

The stagnant water could harbor contams. Why is the incubator shown on fungifun "quiet difficult"? It's two bins with water and a heater. It doesn't get any easier! There are some variations to this too. Search "heat bomb".

i agree with fooman - if you are going to get a fish tank heater anyway, all you need is one more pot or container to go inside the first one, and you've got ureself the incubator on the simple minds tek.

if that is too difficult then maybe you should reconsider growing. this is the most idiot proof system for incubating jars. there really is no simpler way besides buy one that is already assembled.

Holy shit! that was fast but thanks all for your guides.
What i am saying is it sounds kinda stupid using 2 bins while I can just put them in a plastic bag and then in water. I bet you followed some stupid persons idea and it got well promoted while it could be easier than that. as someone who is new in this game, it was a way came to my mind to keep the temperature like that but u just red it on the forum and did wut they have done.
and thenewguy05 it is not hard but you know many ppl dont try growing mushrooms just because of some simple stuff like that. I just wanna make it as simple as possible. make a log as a first time grower and guide all those lazy bastards to grow their own sh!t.
