fruiting CONTAINER

I'm in the middle of my 3rd grow, 2nd bulk grow. Friday I spawned some brf cakes to Hpoo... I didn't have a large pan so I made 3 small hpoo casings. One of them I made in a medium sized clay casserole dish (about 4 inch sub. depth) and 2 of them in smaller plastic containers (about 3 inch sub depth). I covered them with foil and put them in the incubator. Today I looked at them and the larger casserole dish is almost 90% colonized and the other 2 just have a few spots of myc. poking through. So I'm thinking that the clay casserole dish is doing so much better because its better insulated? Has anyone else ever experimented with what you "plant" your mushrooms in?

doesn't really matter what you put them in... as long as light can not penetrate through the container. this will induce side pinning

all three containers are opaque. Perhaps the extra inch of sub depth makes it colonize faster? (that doesnt seem logical)
