Full-blown hallucinations when I'm falling asleep.

I hate pharmaceutical companies.
I usually take 200mg's of seroquel a night to stay slowed down.
Friday I tripped on MiPT, 60mg's (yeah). Up all night, didn't take seroquel.
Saturday I got some sleep and took my meds.
Sunday I went snowboarding 2 hours away, got flagged at their bar, had to get a hotel, and didn't take my meds. Not too much sleep, I woke up at 5am and drove home.
Got there, got ready, went to class. I was awake most of the class but I started dozing towards the end.
First, I saw someone walk past. I looked out of the corner of my eye and they disappeared. ?!?!
Then, another person walked to the desk in front of me, picked up a book, and walked away to my left. I turned my head and they disappeared.
Last night I was falling asleep. I was definately still awake enough to notice that when I looked over at my recliner, the clothes sitting on it started to swirl and distort, getting bigger etc. Upon realizing this, I was startled and it went away.
I decided to play with it, so I didn't react the next time they started swirling. The clothes stood up into a person, which started walking towards me, and then I really had to freak. I then turned away, closed my eyes, and went to sleep.
Kinda unusual for me. Anyone ever have this happen? And, is it the MiPT taking a while to clear my system or am I in trouble when I want to get off the seroquel?

the hallucinations right before sleep, ya i get those all the time. im not too sure if the mipt had anything to do with it or not, my guess would be no. try playing with it some more, you might be able to go lucid.

I always get these types of hallucinations when I nap, but not very often when I doze off before nighttime sleep.
It used to scare the shit out of me. I would be convinced someone came in and started talking to me, or that I would be getting up out of bed, etc. A trick I learned from the movie Waking Life that actually works...next time you know you're in that mode...immediately walk over to the light switch and try to turn it on...chances are it will be impossible to turn on the lights (I dunno why this works, but it does) then if you can associate that with a lucid dream, your wildest imaginations are suddenly possible. Go ahead and start flying, man
I'm not sure if this is also considered an Astral Projection, but when I feel myself start dozing off, it's really simple to "get there" by simply thrusting your body forward, not physically but mentally, you'll just fly right out of bed.
The only times its sort of scary are when you can't make yourself wake up...you might suddenly feel your real body, but you're paralyzed. Just don't freak, there's nothing wrong, you'll be able to move in a few seconds or you'll fall asleep

nah drugs have a lot to do with it.
once i get hallucinagens (including pot) out of my system i get a lot more hallucinations before going to bed than if i regularly use weed or regularly abstain.
the second the lights go off and lie down, melty purple stringy 2-d things appear, open eyes.

i also get this, quite often. sleep paralysis. something about your brain spitting out a chemical that paralyzes your body during rem sleep so you dont act out your dreams.....too much you get this, too little you sleep walk. or something along those lines.
