yes good work.
I am wondering if this could set a precedent for claiming the right to illegal drug use as part of a religious ritual?
if so i am joining the Church of Weed!

Obviously not, but I wonder how long your sect needs to go back to be considered an exception to the drug laws? To the criminalization of the drug itself?
I've heard the Rastas haven't been able to get exceptions anywhere, possibly because they gained prominence after the US and other parts of the world were already castrating the reefer smokers for the hell of it.

IMO when we get a few more "States Rights" Supreme court justices... the house of cards will come tumbling down.
For example in Texas and and maybe a lot of states the majority of folks do not want the federal government telling them what is legal or not. (Eminent Domain, weed, gay marriage, abortion) and they are speaking up!!!
if it was up to the state of Texas you could smoke pot, but you may have to drive to Massachusetts to have an abortion or marry a gay lover.

This is ridiculous! Why should someone have to partake of some religious nonsense to be able to partake of psychedelics.
So I have to fake belief in some god so that I can use the drug of my choice? It seems this is what the government is saying.

the government is saying they can't admit that they are wrong unless they do it in ways that makes it look like they are right.
i.e. all drugs are bad.
except if you are part of a tradition that pre-dates america.
