I'll again point out that if you want a live cactus, skip the torch.
Dry is another story, the skin tends to be good, but it's probably really macrogonus. Not as familliar a name, though.

hrmm, on a possibly somewhat unrelated note.
I've just noticed that a local shop near me, under its 'Live Plants' available for sale, list Lophophora williamsii / Peyote. *ponders*
Being able to walk 15 mins and pick it up in person would sure beat having to order it off of the internet.

DOM would, but you're not going to find DOM these days, it's certainly less common than LSD. I'd trade some LSD to try it though.
Could be DOB, DOI, DOC, 5-MeO-AMT, the usual. I've never heard of any of them in dots, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible.
InTheFlesh714, as far as mescaline microdots go, I expected better from you. You've been around for a while
I mean, just look at the dosage of mescaline. To even have a weak psychoactive effect, that dot would have to weigh .2g on a scale *without* binders. How many microdots would have to go on a scale before it even gets to .10?
there was a report of some DOM from Florida not too long ago on tokeup.
he did a pretty good job at describing it.

then you might actually have some DOM,
if thats what was meant by MOD. The report was for liquid on sugarcubes, but its possible some microdots were made.

You'd be a lucky little shit.
kaniz, makes sense. You're in canada, right? Headshops sell them sometimes. Never enough/in price range/old enough to dose, but nice plants.

Hrmmm, I'll need to see. They arnt so much a headshop. They sell alot of seeds/etc, and books on shamanistic/traditional use of plants, aya, etc. Seems to be a shop that takes things like this to heart/seriously and not selling headshop stuff to stoner kids.
May need to inquire to how much/old they are. Even if I cant dose off of them right away, may be some nice plants to keep around for a few years. How hard are they to take care of?

Very easy to take care of, just don't overwater them. That, leading to root rot is probably the number one way to kill them. Also don't put them out into full sun, or they'll get scorched. I'd get a couple of them, so they can pollinate eachother and get you some more seeds. Also just buy seeds. Get some pereskiopsis and pedro to graft on, and you'll have a booming factory in a few years.

Well,I dont really have the space for a booming factory. However, I contacted the store to inquire what they have and how much. They responded with
Quote:
Seeds are 10/$20 and have a germination rate of about 50%. Some 3-yr olds at $60, 2/$100, 3+ @$40. Three 10-yr plus at $200-250 each
Curious though, how old would one need to be to be able to dose off of it? While I dont plan on buying a 10yr old one then dosing with it (Would seem an awful waste). But, if I did end up getting a few of them going at once - curious minds would like to know.
I took a quick poke around erowid and couldnt find the answer I'm looking for, but dont have the time to do a super-indepth research at the moment.

A study last year showed that grafted cacti are not slower at producing alkaloids, as many forum members seem to think. You can easily get a loph the size of a baseball in 3 years, even less.
As far as a "factory", would you settle for a 4x2 foot area? You can really get a ton going in very little space using pereskiopsis.

*ponders* Indeed, 4x2 isnt that big of a space at all. And well, my BF wants to start a little indoor garden/plant thing anyways just for the sake of having plants inside.
*mind gets a pondering for what to do.....*

Pereskiopsis need (even prefer I've heard) very little root space. I've got them growing an inch and a half apart just fine.
If you did this in a south facing window (might even need some shade protection for a while) or with 2 decent lights... my calculations say 512 plants max in that area. Then throw in all the pups they put out on pereskiopsis, whatever you want to graft to pedros or grow rootbound, and the fact that when they start flowering, a pollinated flower will put out 20-30 seeds. Even if they aren't pollinated, they self pollinate resulting in a couple seeds.
