Holy mental G spot I am tripping on cacti and 5meo-DMT. Very cathartic. I'll post a trip report, if you care about that at all. Hey I gotta question--with all the hostility worth sitting in against, how does anybody feel comfortable enough to post trip reports? Seems to me that items from the trip might come back on a bodhi. Okay, bye.

For me it's like the final conclusion to a trip, when i sit down and reinterpret it by my own hand. I find the trip report itself to be a sort of catharsis.
But even I lose my flair for them sometimes. This weekend's trip, I think, will not get a report.

You mean, you get tired of writing them out, or what? In the middle of this chaos, i find it difficult to express what's going on But the only remarkable aspects of my exp. are intensely personal So much i can't write down, i wonder if it matters if i write it.

Sometimes it seems my experience has simply been to nonverbal too be transmogrified into a written account.
And then, I feel like a failure, because, if I want to be a writer, should I not strive to capture the ineffable in print and ink? It's an interesting dilemma.

Yeah trip reports are extremely beneficial for integrating your psychedelic experiences. Of course, a licensed psychologist with experience with psychedelics might be even better.

I wish I lived near a Shroomerite that wanted to do many trip-sitting experiments, where we would take turns helping each other through high dose LSD and mushroom trips. There were a few people in Canada this weekend I felt like I'd be in great hands around.

Me too man. I'm checking out local Holotropic Breathwork workshops - they're very, very similar to psychedelic experiences, only you achieve an altered state of consciousness through simply changing your breathing rate. They were created by Grof...a brilliant mind. I'd bet there's at least one or two trained people in your area.

Thanks It occurs to me that we can have music, of any kind, at any hour of the night, given internet access. My ancestors would kill for that. Literally! It gladdens my heart. I do that when I have a free moment, i think, what might my ancestors think of this thing or that? And then I reflect that they probably had more important things to do with their day, like tend cows.

Think how prized the Entertainer was way back when. The individual that could amuse those around him, and how valued it was, that time spent around the campfire, letting the amusers amuse.
Now you can turn on television, insert a movie, put on a CD, play any of a thousand games.
Is it too easy?
