Too bad it would probably come in small installments.

I definitely wouldn't blow the money. I would take Goob's advice and give some to a good charity, then I would invest some and sit on the rest and live comfortably. Maybe look into starting up my own plant nursery. That sounds like a nice life to me. It may sound boring to you, but I would be doing some serious travelling and festival hopping, too.

If we're talking like, massive amounts, I'd probably put myself through Berklee, buy a nice house in the hills a ways away from civilization (but not so far that I feel completely isolated, heh) with a studio in the basement... few other things... new car, houses for my parents and sister.
I would certainly be more generous with my money in my daily life, which would result in some charity donations as well.
Beyond that, I would invest some and live off the remainder while furthering my musical development.

I would use it to take a trip to Mexico, and buy a bunch of weed. As for the rest, that's just not my concern right now.

Berklee is different from Berkley if that's what you're thinking of. Berklee is a music school in Massachussetts - where Dream Theater and other pretentious rock bands had their training.

I'd buy a house, a car (nothing real crazy -- maybe a nice acura or a benz) and I'd let my friends be big time moochers at my new mansion. That is all.
