Think this cake is ready for dunking?
    #5322834 - 02/21/06 02:32 AM (17 years, 11 months ago)

This would be one side of it that worries me, I was thinking that I should probably let this side sit for a another week just to be sure

This side as well as the top is completely covered in MYC so I'm just waiting on one side before I dunk. I'm just checking to see if I'm jumping the gun with all you vets out there.

If it isnt 100% colonized, leave it alone, till at least 3 days after you see 100% colonization. IMO you dont need to dunk untill after the 1st flush.

Its probably just me getting impatient as usual, though I'm defiantly using grains next time this PF-tek takes a while. thanks

Your gonna learn the art of patience no matter what medium u use, lol. If your using spores, then grains can and do take just as long. The only good way to speed things up is using LC's. And about the dunking... I never dunked till after the first flush.

Go ahead and give it a roll in the dry, then mist enough to keep it "misty/dewy", if that makes sense to you.

It does actually. I hear if you do not mist it you can sit there and stare at the pretty marshmallow looking thing for a while.

lol. And another thing, Before dunking between flushes, I would take a fork and scrape the old verm off. Then I would dunk, and re-roll.
Goodluck man.
P.S. Your also gonna go thru the whole "ITS BEEN 10 DAYS SINCE BIRTHING, AND STILL NO PINS" freakout. Give yourself 2 weeks after birthing before you freakout.

I'm probably going to end up having to build a stealth grow kit since suddenly company will be coming over. Perfect timing to since they're going to show up in two weeks, right when that one will be fruiting I bet. Just my luck as well, I'll figure out something or stick it in the freezer..
