Opinion:::<?>
    #5322641 - 02/21/06 12:15 AM (17 years, 11 months ago)

Hello everyone,
I hope that you guys all swell. This question originates from the dark conrners of my curiosity. We are on our second grow and this time I am not watching over the jars when they are in their incubation stage. The jars have been in incubation for 2 weeks now in an areaa with a temprature of 78-85 degrees. There appears to be no sign of any myc. growth. Do you think that it;s okay and maybe give them another week or so orshould there be definite signs? The strains are Orishia India and Guld Coast.

Thanks.

I.T. :mushroom2:

If you're doing grains, throw them out.

If you're doing PF jars, it's possible for them to take 3 weeks to show growth...

first question that comes to mind is how long did you wait to inoculate after sterilization?

I think they may be on the dry sid, I am thinking about putting them in a TIT (tun in tub) setup. We sterilized the jars and waited for 2 weeks. I know that's fairly long but i was udner the impression that they could be stored for months, in fact i remember a post when someone ahd them stored for 2 months and they turned out. I don't know.

This might sound stupid but turn the jars upsilon. mine were showing nothing for 2 weeks and then I turned them Upside down and bingo it grew the next day. From what I understand the Co2 will leak out of the hole's since its heavier then air.
