 Do they test for mushrooms in a rehab center?

Well, I am going to be forced to take random drug testing and or weekly drug screenings...I was wondering, if anyone knows....do they test for Mushrooms, psilocybin...in a drug test of any kind. I have never heard of it, but I am unsure about this one...if there was a thread about this before I didn't find it right off...okay if they do test for it, how long before they can't detect it in a blood/urine test?

Only if they suspect you to be using them - it is very expensive; besides, the metabolites are only detectable in your body for a couple days.
So you have little if nothing to worry about.
Use the search, it was asked in the past week or so

That is what I thought, I guess I heard right, they must have to use an expensive test, becuse I have never heard of any place testing them...well not lately, I was almost thinking there are newer testing methods now days then they used to..I haven't had to take a drug screen for anything, a job or whatever for years, so that is why I was asking...btw..I will do a search for the same question again...thanks for your input.

if you are being put into a rehab center then maybe you need to admit you have a problem and learn self control. drugs are not bad but abuse is. or you can just ignore me and do whatever the hell you feel like doing.

Can you be banned for post whoring in 'General questions'?  I was warned by a member that I was cutting close to being banned for whoring it up in the Pub!!..oh yea btw, I never found the thread about this same similar question yet...oh well.

btw, I was court ordered, but I have a alcohol and Marijuana problem, I use shrooms for enlightment, not to abuse them...

good answer. i use to have the same problem with weed and alcohol. but i realized it is affecting my life so i no longer drink and i will never let a drug take a hold on me like i did.

you can find the answer on 'erowid' I don't know if I spelled it right, but I looked it up...lemon_lw> yes is sucks being forced to do things, but I really need to stop before I get into trouble again besides...it is bad to drink beer everyday like i was doing..

If you really used mushrooms for enlightenment you wouldn't have a weed/alcohol problem to begin with.

I'm pretty quick to judge, which I admit can make me come across as a pretty negative person, but I feel that a lot of times I say what someone needs to hear. Whether they like it or not. The fact is, I know plenty of people who use psychedelics for "spiritual" reasons when the truth is they coined the term to feel ok about their drug abuse.
If this is not your case skunk, I apologize.

yeah man i just got busted for possesion of LSD, codeine, vicodin and weed. plus pipes and all that stuff. i think i'm going to stop using all drugs except shrooms and only about once a month unless theres another rare drug that gets offered to me particulary hallucinogens. Shrooms really intrigue me and i've never used them spiritually but i'd definitely like to. i've recently started meditating daily and i like it alot. just being in a completely relaxed state of mind is great. alright well this has nothing to do with the topic so i'll stop. peace
