No growth whatsoever

I made a set of jars using the classic PF tek, and have experienced no growth whatsoever after 2 weeks. No contams, but nothing at all. I waited after boiling until the jars were cool to the touch, but it's conceivable that their insides were still too hot. When I took apart a jar, the substrate was still slightly damp to moist (similar to when they started out). The other possibility I'm looking at is that I have bunk spores. I (shame on me) didn't get them from a shroomery vendor, but there are a considerable amount of spore clumps in the syringe I have left from them.
I have two questions - first, are there any other causes I may be missing, and second, is it feasible to simple re-sterilize and re-inject the jars I currently have?
Thanks

the problem with resterilizing the jars is that some of the water in the jars evaporates in the process, your substrate may become too dry. You might be able to counter this, however, with your spore solution. Since you are using vermiculite and flour rehydrating is a lot more realistic than other substrates
I would rather suggest, if you haven't opened the rest, to leave them covered without air exchange and order a syringe from a sponsor. When you recieve it you can use it to re-inoculate your jars if they haven't contaminated. Make sure to go easy on the juice, don't want it too wet in there

If you didn't get your spores from a reputable vendor, then there's no telling.

I would just start from scratch and make fresh jars.

Jars will be cool to the touch before the inside is cool. Next time wait overnight before inoculating.

Thank you all for your help. I'll be trying again (third times the charm, right?), buying from a shroomery vendor and waiting overnight with fresh jars. Wish me luck.
