White dots on caps??

My friend currently has some casings of B+ and Koh Samui in his terrarium, all the caps have circular patterns of little white dots on them. He heard this meant humidity was too high but they are all doing great!! Should he worry about this?? Thanks!!!

They're doing great, you just answered your own question. As long as you have proper air exchange, high humidity shouldn't be a concern. Mycelium on caps can also occur from higher than recommended temperatures.

Sounds like remnants of the universal veil. I wouldn't worry about it. Unless they're fuzzy mycelium, then perhaps your humidity is a bit low. :smile:
