MJB Kratom Resin

Has anyone here ever tried the kratom resin offered by MJB botanicals. 50 grams of raw plant material supposedly yield 5 to 6 grams of resin. If you look on his site the description is really confusing. I asked him about this through email and he said that he thought it was 50 percent total alkaloids, but when an outside lab tested the resin, they confirmed that 41 percent of the resin was composed of alkaloids(just all alks in general) and 17 percent of the total alkaloid content is mitragynine. 1-2% of the alkaloids is 7 hydroxy mitragynine.
It sounds like a pretty powerful product and cost more then the 15x kratom. If no one has used this product then I'll buy a few grams and try it out.

i bought 98% mitragynine from mjb and was very disapointed,, same with 15x extract. Only pure leafs have given me good effects for some reason.

I saw that 98% pure extract, the reason you probably didn't feel much is because the extract didn't contain any 7-hydroxy mitragyine. A while back someone showed me this article about a team of Japanese scientist who concluded that 7-hydroxy mitragyine was much more active even though there is much more mitragyine in Kratom overall.
I'll try to find that article.

MJB has some very rare botanicals that I wouldnt find anywhere else. But extract wise, its not the best in the world. I remember getting some harmaline freebase from the dude, it was actually a very good smoke. But potency wise, I checked it under the black light and it wasnt very responsive to UV. My guess is that your extract was probably old.

I just got my shipment of resin from MJB a couple of weeks ago, and I'm quite pleased. I've found it to be more potent than the 15x stuff that's out there now.

and have a wonderful day
edit - and thanks for pointing MJB out, they got some cool stuff! Think I could make a tea or smoke with some ashwaganda extract?

And the enhanced passion flower leaf smoking blend is looking good, wild dagga, Kratom and blue lilly resin, you think it'd be a decent buzz?
