Would Organic Rye Flour work better that or not as well as brown rice flour?

Don't know about fruiting yet but sitting side by side the
rye flower seems to colonize a few days ahead of BRF.
All indications are that the mycelia loves it!

I ran out of BRF and since I have a LARGE bag of organic DRF i'm using that for all my jars. I've got 9PF style DRF jars going right now and they seem to be going at normal speed.

WakingUpLate, make sure you post your results regarding how they fruit. If rye flour works faster than BRF and spawns a more potent mushroom, then why do all these teks say to use BRF and dont even mention Rye flour? Does anyone know how well they fruit?

people use brf in their teks because not everyone has access to a pressure cooker. brf substrate only has to be boiled. that is my hypothesis

That's good to know because I just lost the damn jiggler
of my PC. I thought there must be a reason PF reccomends
BRF.
A little off the subject: I saw a show that discussed the possibility of some kind of mold on rye bread causing
some young girls to trip unexpectedly. They thought someone
had cast a spell on them. This led to The "Salem Witch Trials" !
Pretty wild huh?
