Upside down

Only one box has fruited, the others are pinning very well.

Cool things:
1. No fanning. CO2 theoretically dissipates toward the 'bottom'.
2. Airborne contamination cut down? Seems like it, with the casing surface upside down, though that might be a stretch.
3. They grew perfectly straight toward the light on the shelf below and ONLY turned upward after the veils had broken. I'm assuming the exposure of the inner gill tissue to low CO2 triggered the fungi's gravitropism.

Still have to play a bit more with it, get more substrate mass in the chamber.

I think it would be cool to try inverting a completely colonized rubbermaid, at least through pinning. Maybe a screen or something could be used at casing to hold things down [up?]

Might be able to do this without any fanning or pumps.........

:P
