Dealing with your Karma
    #5316392 - 02/19/06 12:45 PM (17 years, 11 months ago)

I think most of us path seekers at times become so overwhelmed by our karma that we think it will never end and we'll spend the rest of our lives living the results of bad behavior patterns(specefically a few certain, persisting ones).  I mainly made this post to share this link with you, my friends.  I found it browing the net today and I've found it to contain a lot of truth.

http://swamij.com/archerykarma.htm

But this thread also serves as a place to discuss karma in general.  I'm most interested in the personal aspects of someone's karma(i.e what behaviors it comes from, how it plays out internally and externally)  I'd also love to hear from people that have overcame certain parts of their karma and how they did it and how it changed them.

I know this is a very revealing subject and I applaud all of those brave enough to spill their guts.  If this thread goes in this direction I think we have a lot of opportunity for healing and increasing our understanding of our peers, here and elsewhere.  :tongue2:

and much respect to you friend for allowing that truth to spill.

as these times speed up, our path towards ascension in these next years to come will be dire.

time is speeding up, or collapsing. the mayan symbol on the end of the calender does not stand for the end of the world. but the true english translation says -beyond time and beyond money.

mayan elders express how time is speeding up, and we are all bound by obligation to our karma. we must rid ourselves of it, and redeem before ascension. nothing but perfect can transition into the higher deminsions.

again though time is speeding up- karmic outplay is speeding by. the karma we deal with on a day to day basis is much more than a decade ago.

i have come to find that in these times i can redeem myself from my bad karma by lifting others up.

i have not figured out why i incarnated here. i do not know if it is to ascend myself, or to simply help others along that path to help my souls progression and to help rid myself of negative karma.

i have come to find that the power of manifestion can be a tool in which you can use to see where you lie with your karmic obligations.

some manifestations will only play out if karmic law allows them too. so if you strive for years to rid yourself of judgement, and dedicate yourself to helping others and spreading love, it plays against your negative karma 10 fold.

try manifesting small happy events. if they do not play out as according to your wishes, then you can see where some negative karma needs to be transmuted, and you can work on that area.

whether it be with family, or friends, or even animals for that matter.

it can help you find the way to where you positive energy input is needed.

it is a good thing we have incarnated here in these times. for these times will be the easiest ones to lift ourselves from our karmic obligation. ascension is an imminent process that will come, and by helping others to find their path, and giving up regard for oneself, you can express much transmutation of light.

know that love and light and stronger than negative and dark. they are not equals, and by giving yourself to the love and light, you are much more spead along the way to transmuting your karma faster.

i have rid myself of judgement, and accept and give nothing but love, and strive to help others in need regardless of being chasticed and degraded.

understand that the needs of the many outwiegh the needs of the few is a good way to adress your karma.

i would suggest finding your deepest truth, and starting from there, and accepting that whatever is to happen is to happen. do not hold negative energy over negative experiences. accept them for what they are and for their role in your progression.

that will help transmute that dark into light, and inturn keep your NOW karma at 0, so you can work on your past karma.

kinda wierd, but this is where my truth has lead me, and i hope to rid myself of bad karma before these ends times transition, and ascend

the link goes to a very good place.

In modern psychological terms karma is conditioned potential, which is the basis of all mental functioning.

reading it through with a modern western psychological approach is as easy as swallowing it using karma as dogma.

in meditation one can see karma as it governs experiencing and reacting, just as one can examine the process of associative conditioning and memory recall or reflex learned behavior.

I would edit the diagrams so that a huge store of arrows had a more molecular relationship with figure, ground, quivver, bow and target, but it would take an mc escher level genius to do it significantly better than the existing author/artist.

I have always viewed karma as the wobble in a plate spinning on a finger. Good karma and bad karma are opposite sides of the wobble; one cannot be incurred without the other. The only way to find peace is to locate a balance, such that the wobble goes away.

Karma is baggage.
Good, bad, it matters not.
Baggage is baggage.
