Cloudy??? There isnt a cloud in the sky but it is cold as hell out there. I think I'm going to go get a good workout in, it will be my first in over a week, I need to get back into the groove of exercising again.
Hazlenut coffee?? Not too bad, just brewed a pot a little bit ago, not bad at all.

I like my coffee straight up. I put nothing in mine except for ice cubes to cool it down. No flavor, no sugar and no creamer.

I have to have cream in mine or I can't drink it. This is the first coffee that i have had in a while and it is tasting pretty good. Now I know why I was trying to quit--once I drink one cup I want another and another.... And then I end up feeling like shit about 5--6 hours later. But it is doing me right right now anyway.

Yeah, I love hearing the story about their first acid trip. I love it when they talk about seeing some little red light and thinking that everything was on fire. They also drove home on it at a very slow rate of speed, as I recall. www.irevolution.info has some clips of dialogue from the "Anthology" series where they discuss it. I can't listen to it right now, but I think they talk about it here. Check it out, courtesy of bit_slice and GratefulJim. If that's not the right one, listen to either this one, this one, this one or this one. One of those has to be it. Or perhaps it's on this clip from the John Lennon Rolling Stone interview. I can't quite remember, right now.

I've read the story. It's in some big Beatles book I own. I think they talked about 2 of their acid trips in the book. Very fun stories to read. I always thought that the Beatles music was almost completely psychedelic inspired until I started to read more about them. I couldn't believe that they came up with the stuff they did before even TRYING psychedelics.

White Widow is wonderful, but why so much tobacco? I guess if you smoke cigs, then it would make it better, but just smoke a pin joint, or a one hitter of the herb, then smoke a cig. Whatever makes you happy, though right? I am personally jealous, but I have a cache of Widow seeds, so nya!
Hey LearyFan, I hope you are having a nice morning, so far, as for everyone else reading here.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what sorts of things you're referring to, but they had tried LSD in 1965, before "Help!", right? I can't think of any surrealistic lyrics they had on or before that album.

Good morning evryone! Life is good and my kids are driving me nuts per usual. I'm thinking about smokings some nugs later. It will be the first time since my heart attack. I have had a bad back for awhile(including 2 surgery's) all the laying around i have done has stiffened it up and it's giving me some pain. instead of relying on opiates for relief I would much more prefer some natural goodness.
Hope everyones day is filled with love and peace.

Yes some of them are. My comment though was natural goodness. Meaning I consider opiates poison for my soul. Marijuana is not poisonous to my soul. Also before all you opiate lovers rise up and have a fit let me say the key words in my comments were MY. Some people can use opiates without problems. I on the other hand cannot. I was a heroin addict long ago and even when I try to use prescription opiates for legit effects I seam to have spiritual troubles if I use them to long. They put a wedge between me and eternity.
There are times because of my severe back problems when I do need an opiate. As long as it's just an acute remedy then it doesn't really cause a problem. If I can though I would much more prefer to use good ole weed. I have been planning on trying pod tea though. I heard it doesn't give much euphoria and lasts a long time. When I do have to use a opiate my pain is usually severe enough that I have to lay around for a day or two eating diluadid in high doses. Drinking a cup of tea that lasts all day long would be beneficial ,especially if I could continue going about my day to day affairs without much psychoactive effects. I hear it's pretty addictive though if you use it regularly, but then again so are most opiates.

Very true. Thougth one of the nice things about natural drugs is that as Mckenna always pointed out is that they have a much longer time of relationship with humans then synthetic drugs. This gives us more data on toxicology, benifit's,ext.

That is a good point but not always true. You are thinking about traditional natural drugs. I am sure there are tones more of psycoactive drugs in nature that are just waiting to be discoverd.

Thats true. I was refering to the drugs we know about. I imagine that the rainforests hold a whole pharmacopia of chemicals we have yet to discover. Hopefully we will have the intelligence to preserve and study this vast resource.
