Baby Bottle Tek woes...

I recently tried LC for the first time by following Agar's baby bottle tek. It's so simple that a baby should be able to follow it, but unfortunately for me I'm not a baby nor do I possess one.
I'm not seeing any growth what-so-ever. I knocked up a total of 5 bottles on 2 seperate occasions with fresh syringes that I just recieved from a sponsor. Followed the tek to the letter and after 10-14 days, respectively, still no signs of myc. What could possibly be wrong?!?

Hard to say, but the problems I had were with the Mixture, the right amounts,
If nothing is happening then I would suspect that the mixture is 'hot' or to little.
I think if the mixture is 2/5% off then that would prohibit Mycelium growth.

Well out of all 5, none of them worked!!! It's got to be either the karo or the syringe... Is it possible to have a bad brand new bottle of light karo w/vanilla?

No I don't think so, my guess is that solutions was not right.
That is the only thing that I can think of. I doubt the syringe was bad.
So nothing, not cloudy or anything, what was the temp during Incubation?
Is the liquid yellow?

Nothing at all, clear water. The temp is around 78 with minor fluctuations. I went out and bought some honey, i'm gonna try another couple containers today, hopefully I'll see something. I've heard of myc in a couple days, but whats a reasonable amount of time to wait before throwing them out?

I don't know, I would let them sit, I have had slow jars and then they start growing.
Let them sit and make some more, but carefully measuring it out.......
And make a few cause one you have LC you can transfer it another...

Did you let them cool before inoculating? My guess would be that your ratios are off, did you do 6ml of karo to 240ml of water?

Yeah I let them cool to about room temp and i used a syringe to measure. I just did another 3 but weighed honey instead to 8 grams in 250 mL of water.

Day 1, could you SEE any spores in the syringe before injecting, or BB after injecting.
