You don't really need a tek for a small terrarium. Just get a small container that you can throw a lid on, then put some saturated perlite on the bottom - done. Soda bottle, coffee can, tupperware, gallon ziploc bag. Really anything.

any cube strain can and a poor man's set up is small and inexpensive...do some searches.

It involves a 2 or 3 liter soda bottle as the main unit.

Wally-Mart has a cheap glass 10 gal aquarium for $9.96

Low prices, every day.

If you can find a narrow one, go for it. I'd advise that it be at least 5" wide and like 6" though. Because even though mushies will grow in tight spaces, it's still good to have at least some space for them to spread out a bit.

And I wouldn't actually advise the glass aquarium path. I bought one when first starting out and never actually got around to using it. The storage tubs are bigger, cheaper, and easy to hide in a closet. Really the only benefit to the glass aquarium is the view, but you shouldn't be showing these off anyways.
