Embarassing question!

Ever since I started taking SSRI antidepressants my sex drive has gone to pot and I can rarely ejaculate. I still have the same desire for sex and don't have erection problems, I just can't seem to get turned on easily.
I have tried viagra and yohimbe which were both unsucsesfull and Iam skeptical about the others. Can anyone help?

that's a common side effect of antidepressants...i used to take lexapro which my girlfriend at the time affectionately referred to as my "porn star pills" cause we would routinely go at it for over an hour, when 20-30 minutes was the norm. i believe those pills have an "evening out" effect, where in order to keep you from feeling extreme lows, it also prevents extreme highs, such as orgasm. (no scientific info there, just personal experience. anyone who really knows, feel free to correct me) all i can really think of is to maybe ask your doctor about a lower dosage. if you don't have erection problems, don't use viagra or anythign like that.

I think your thinking about it too much, anxiety could be an issue. Try switch type of anti depressants..there are many different types.

It is a common side effects of SSRIs. If it becomes too much of a problem I would get some viagra from your doctor. I am currently on Effexor.

It's called an "anorgasmic" side effect. It totally sucks.
