Casings not pinning....?

I cased a few trays the other day and placed them in the fruiting chamber. It has now been several days and i cant get any pins. I swear everything was going fine untill now. This tray was cased about 14 days ago with 60-40 verm/coco coir.
These were cased about 8 days ago with 50/50 verm/peat moss.
Incubated them at 84-86, and are now kept at 70-74 with a humidity level of 90-93%. Their is a cool mist running 24/7 so their is more than plenty of FAE. Whay am I not getting pins? I alreadt had to throw away 2 trays of the 14 day ones due to contams.

green mold. You say to drop humidity to 80%, are you sure? Everything i have read said that optimum humidity for casings was 90%. BTW i have 14 hours flourecent light every day.

no 90% is too high, anything higher than 80% i get contams before the second flush . i think 12 hours of light is optimal but i haven't tried any other light cycles.

dropping your temp down to 65-67 could trigger some pins

Getting down to 65 is impossible. My AC on 70 gets the chamber at 72. Putting it colder will put a dent in my pocket and a sweater on my upper body.

rh anywhere between 80-90% wont stop your casings from pinning.. so i doubt its rh.. i would say your problem is time.. 2 weeks sometimes isnt enough. try waiting longer

Definitely not the RH 90% is not too high especially during pinning. Read my pinning strategy closely and see if you missed anything, as sometimes a small seemingly insignificant detail is quite important. Is the surface very moist? pins won't develop in a overly dry casing layer. I agree with Razman wait also are you filtering your coolmist's air (you should be!), Are you disinfecting your coolmist's water? Also mist the casing lightly several times from a distance to bring up that moisture content to "near saturation" most times thats all that is needed and within a few days you'll have pins everywhere.GL

look for pins with a magnfying glass. They start off really small, but when they appear, they grow fast.

Still no pinning..... I re-read everything and the only thing i think i missed was spraying the casings once in the fruiting chamber. I sprayed them with water (with peroxide) when i cased and put in the incubation, but not after i put them in the fruiting chamber. Could this be the problem? I mean i ket the humidity at like 95 at the begining but maybe not spraying them with water was the big gap in my puzzle.....?
I sprayed them all today. Lets see what happenes. Im really pissed because i spent a good amount of money making sure that everything was OPTIMAL to ensure the fastest growth possible. Im just going to hope that it was the spraying i missed. Because i really dont want my future casings to take so long to pin in my fully automated double-martha sytem.

Keeping that casing at or close to near saturation is very important at this stage of the game. Even slightly dry casings will not pin well. Like you said you've spent alot of time as well as money get it right and it will pay off more than you will ever realize. Success is the biggest payoff in my book hands down! HAve patients my friend this is definitely the hardest time right now.
