PC vs microwaving casing

I'm going to use the 50/50 casing of verm and coco coir, and I was wondering whether it is better to PC it or just nuke it in the microwave.

While PCing would be the safest bet, I've nuked my casing mix before with no problems.

Microwaving is just fine, it gets it done. Microwave for 5 min, stir, another 5 min. Make sure you clean out the microwave good and keep a lid on the bowl.

I PC the casing layer once..........

Nuke it, like 3-5 then stir and then 3-5 and keep it close till your ready and it's cool.

I think I'll keep things simple and just nuke it. I haven't grown before but I know I am going to use casing so I'm trying to plan everything out. Thanks for the help.

i just nuked my casing material and i've had no contams so far. i nuked for 5, shook the jars they were in, nuked for another 5mins.. let it cool for a min. then nuked for another 4mins. then i let cool for a few hours then cased them.

i havent had contams so far... hopefully it'll stay that way.

Microwaving casing mix is the way to go; PC'ing holds no advantage there.
