NO, you need a PC
But some have positive luck with a process that I for get it's name cause I have not need it but it is something like Fractal Sterilization or something. A stepping process low heat cool low heat cool, sort of thing, END spores are the issue.

A PC is the singular most expensive thing that you need, after you get one it's down hill.
Save up the penny's but $180 is not that bad for AAPC 925

I wanted for my first grow till I could get one

An AAPC is not necessary, I have mirro brand pc's wal mart sells them for 40 bucks, I have 4 of those, everyone talks about how much you can fit in an AAPC but with 4 smaller pc's I can fit 12 quart jars for the same money...

eBay. You don't need something brand-new and shiney to get the job done right.

A PC wouldn't be a bad investment. But if you're set on not buying one, just do cakes and use them as spawn. I've spawned PF cakes to straw with excellent results.

You're thinking of tyndallization also referred to as fractional sterilization. I've not used this process myself because I have nice big PC that I got on ebay for a good deal.
The jist of this is that you boil your jars for 30 min, sit for 24, boil for 30 min, sit for 24, and then boil for 1hr and then let cool and inject.
Basically the idea behind this is that you'll kill of what you can, and then when you let it sit, you're allowing resistant endospores to germinate and making them more susceptible to be killed in the next boiling.
