It seems everythings going wrong. War, overpopulation, unending sexism, racism, religionism, etc... Man and woman are falling more out of balance all the time. It seems like its just getting worse and no ones doing anything to try to stop.
Anyone else feel hopeless?

Other than the over-population, what you described is business as usual for the human species.

my friend you feel how so many do each day.
that is your soul knocking on your door, to let it in to talk.
the world is changing my friend. in every corner, knick and cranny.
there are beautiful changes ahead. as the earth stops herself and prepares to take the next steps herself, a new massive flood of energy is hitting the earth. this new energy is wading out the old, creating chaos all around.
thos who believe that everything is normal as it ever was are very wrong.
you need only to look in front of you to see these changes, and see these abnormalities.
you vibrational level is rising, which means your consciousness is too. you are coming into being, and your body is now enduring the new cycle of energies present.
go my friend, you must ask yourself questions and you must find the answers.
your eyes are begining to open, your are awakening like so many do each day.
i lend my hand to you anytime you may need it, or have a question you feel i may be able to answer.
my thoughts go out to your progression in these times, and i hope you find truth soon.

I love the world. I think in spite of all the things you mentioned, it's a beautiful place. Hopeless? I don't think so. I look at the world and I see great potential. Will it ever be perfect? No. But I look at the things that are wrong with the world as an opportunity. Rather than sit back and complain about them, I'd rather make my life mean something by striving to fix the world's problems, or at least do as much as I can.

heh. fer real tho ^
if we only knew how bad we were really fucking the world up. and if we only knew how many people truely dont care.
its a good thing there is a small chunk trying to do their part, with phsyical interaction, and putting out good thoughts and good energy.
if it werent for them, and all the lightworkers who knows where wed be.
i just dont understand how people think we are going to make it.
with all this polar ice melting at the rate it is. the modules have already been run, they are just not willing to post them on CNN.
if we dont accept, want, and try for changes soon i dont see the masses surviving another 50 years.
its on us to do this, and unfortunantly it is a war against society and government...
but it might seem fiesable if more people joined the 'us',
or atleast opened their eyes a tad bit wider.

Nothing is wrong with the world. This is the way the world is to be right now, naturally. Produce change from this position if you feel the need to, change is imminent and constant, and it matters not in what manner the change materializes.

Like a singer 'sang'..
something like: "It is not the world that is wrong, .. BUT what we are DOING to it, that should be of your concern!" ..
he said it better.. ;P
I bet someone know who it is..
Edit
I found it!
Quote:
Some of you young folks been saying to me,
'Hey Pops, what you mean what a wonderful world? ... How about all them wars all over the place? You call them wonderful? And how about hunger and pollution? They ain't so wonderful either.'
..
But how about listening to old Pops for a minute.
It seems to me it ain't the world that's so bad, but what we're doing to it, and all I'm saying is see what a wonderful world it would be if only we'd give it a chance.
Love, baby, love.
That's the secret. .. Yeah... If lots more of us loved each other, we'd solve lots more problems. And man, this world would be a better. ... -- Louis Armstrong, 1970

Comparing the situation of mankind nowadays to the conditions two hundred years ago, thanks to technology, I think we have much easier, freer, and better lives. War, Sexism, Racism, Religionism all still exist, but things have improved.

Anyone else feel hopeless?
And what exactly are you doing any differently than everyone else?
If you have a personal computer, chances are you're polluting, consuming and shitting all over our planet more than the vast majority of the human species in other parts of the world.
Not spiteful, that's simply the way it is.
I don't think we could ever fix the earth anyway. The only natural fix is the one that is self-caused; in human terms, this fix would be a Malthusian catastrophe, or the point where natural selection started to reign us back in and allow other forms of life to begin regrowing to areas previously decimated by human inhabitation. Humans, however, are by far the most successful animals yet seen on this planet; we've learned technologies that allow us to lower our Darwinistic threshold, the amount that survival of the fittest comes into play, to the point that in the modern day we've been to practically every area on the earth's surface, created farming techniques adequate enough to make three-fourths of the population overweight in some countries, and have other massive accomplishments.
Unfortunately, we may damage the earth and ourselves in the process, but what do you expect? Justification, morals, religion, you can clearly see all of it is complete bullshit because our survival habits are the same as any other virus on this planet.

You want to be a virus ? I think, there is one explict thing that makes us different from all other species. I speak of intelligent consciousness, which can be used by its owner in that way, what his will can demand. It exists for us to save the planet and the humans. If people act like primitive devastating headless animals in regard of this, they loose all respect in my eyes and should be shot into space to find their own planet to devastate.

Cowgold is correct.
It is your perception that is flawed.
Instead of thinking what is wrong with the world, think "how can I change what I see wrong with the world?".

I don't think so. Listen to your inspiration, it will reveal the truth behind your perceptions, if you are 'balanced' enough. Then ask "what can I do to change the world to a better place (for our children)."

Hmm..perhaps I would start somewhere something with property-laws first, to reduce the stress of greed and egocentrism somehow. Including protection for wilderness and plurality. Perhaps some compensation for our refused right of hunting, fishing, free fruit-picking and building houses, called self-support, in the more or less populated areas. Just to make some opposite course to the stressing ego-supporting and anti-social trend of neo capitalizm in its purest inhuman forms, raging hard over our planet in faster and heavier waves, to drag everyones' souls and spirits away from his and every humans own destination, leaving them as misused and willless pupetts. (Sorry, had a bad day today )

I would support a more native like view of the earth. Including usage-rights, but with levels and priorities, that would give land for free, for example, to homeless.
The basic life-supporting needs should be available to everybody, including the protection of the whole planet and its life supporting/bearing system, possibly practionable with modern science, technic and knowledge.

What people forget is that it is life itself that causes this.
We are natural, we came from nature (as far as we know).
Life is a virus/parasite, all creatures do horrible things.
We may blow this whole planet to smitherines but life will prevail.
It does its job - which is to survive, whatever the cost.
If there is nothing more to this notion - then what we do is trivial. Just an irrelevant speck on the history of time, so make the most of it - have fun and be as happy as you can.
